We're not going to give you a geography lesson, Google us. You can drive our streets with Street View.
What you can't do is feel how warm it is on the beach, what the cold beer tastes like with your feet in the sand, or how the morning doves wake you up, even when you are trying to sleep (they have no boundaries)
Being sooo close to our citified neighbors, the drive is quick, not like a Traverse City ride. You can be here by the time you get maybe half way there. And we don't have Grand Rapid's attitude. Remember we are Forgotten. Did you like that: remember/forgotten. See we can be witty if we want.
Having Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay as part of who we are we have developed an appreciation for the ebb and flow of time. In the winter, things slow down, it becomes quiet, a good time to hunker down and do some serious brewing/distilling. We're thinking small batches to taste. Try it out on our regulars, believe me, they will tell you what they think. Then, as the snow melts and the trees and wild life wakes from their slumber, so does life. In the summer the pace quickens, days are long and the weather is hot, just right for taking the best of the winter experiments and ramping it up for the summer crowds.
